Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Senior Companion. By using the app or enabling Family Monitoring, you agree to these terms.

Service Purpose

Senior Companion provides simplified phone tools, user-initiated SOS contact actions, daily check-ins, caregiver pairing, family cards, shared care tasks, and optional email alerts. It is a convenience and family-support service, not an emergency service, medical device, medical alert system, or substitute for caregiver supervision. Email, internet, location, phone, and messaging services can be delayed, unavailable, or fail.

Caregiver Consent

You may provide one caregiver email for Family Monitoring only with the recipient's permission. The recipient must verify the address with a six-digit code before alerts can be enabled. Alert frequency depends on the configured schedule and is limited to 200 automatic alert emails per calendar month. The recipient may disable future alerts through the confirmation link in an alert email, and either user can disable monitoring in the app.

Purchases

In the updated app, everyday phone tools and personalization previously offered through Senior Companion Plus are free, without a one-time purchase. Family Monitoring remains an optional auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. Current localized prices, eligible trial terms and billing periods are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through app store account settings. Previous purchase records remain with the applicable store and RevenueCat; making these tools free does not automatically refund earlier purchases or cancel a Family Monitoring subscription. Purchases and refunds are administered under the applicable store's terms.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the service to send alerts to an address you do not have permission to use, interfere with the service, bypass limits, or use the app for unlawful, abusive, or misleading activity.

Availability and Changes

The service depends on third-party platforms including Supabase, Resend, RevenueCat, app stores, carriers, and device services. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued when needed for security, legal compliance, reliability, or provider availability.
